Then comes the internet. There is always a demand for skilled web designers and although the competition is very tight in this sector, a skilled person can always create his niche. You would need to learn web languages like HTML, DHTML, Javascript, VB script, PHP, Python, Ruby and AJAX. In fact the developers who can do AJAX are in a increasing demand now a days what with almost entire internet moving towards the Web 2.0.

Finally there are the jobs in computer science of the people who design the hardware and keep the systems and networks up and running - the sysadmins or system administrators. In order to get this kind of jobs in computer science, industry certifications like MCSE, CCNA and RHCE are required.
